Reeti & Simelihorn - Eine Symphonie in Schwarz und Weiss
Die majestätische Schönheit der Berner Alpen zeigt sich im Winter von ihrer eindrucksvollsten Seite. Diese Saison hatte ich das Glück, die schneebedeckten Gipfel von Reeti und Simelihorn von der First aus zu fotografieren. Die Kontraste von Schwarz und Weiss, das Zusammenspiel von Licht und Schatten – es war eine wahre Symphonie der Natur.
Der perfekte Tag zum Fotografieren
Am Nachmittag des 25. Januar 2024 machte ich mich auf den Weg zur First, diese ist auf 2000 M.ü.M. oberhalb von Grindelwald gelegen. Die Wettervorhersage versprach klaren Himmel und strahlenden Sonnenschein, ideale Bedingungen für Winterfotografie. Schon die Fahrt mit der Gondelbahn bot atemberaubende Ausblicke auf die verschneiten Landschaften, aber nichts bereitete mich auf das vor, was mich oben erwartete.
Die Szenerie
Oben angekommen, offenbarte sich eine unvergessliche Aussicht: Die Gipfel von Reeti und Simelihorn erhoben sich majestätisch gegen den tiefblauen Himmel. Die frisch gefallene Schneedecke glitzerte in der Sonne und die klaren, scharfen Linien der Berge zeichneten sich deutlich ab. Der Kontrast zwischen den schneeweißen Flanken und den dunklen Felsen erzeugte ein beeindruckendes Schwarz-Weiss-Bild, das ich mit meiner Kamera festhalten wollte.
Die Fotografie
Ich stellte mein Stativ auf und begann, die Szenerie aus verschiedenen Winkeln einzufangen. Die Herausforderung bestand darin, die Balance zwischen Licht und Schatten zu finden und die Texturen des Schnees sowie die Struktur der Felsen optimal darzustellen. Besonders faszinierend war das Spiel der Wolken, die gelegentlich vorbeizogen und die Landschaft in ein diffuses, weiches Licht tauchten.
Mit einem Weitwinkelobjektiv gelang es mir, die Weite der Landschaft und die Erhabenheit der Berge einzufangen. Einige Aufnahmen machte ich auch mit einem Teleobjektiv, um die Details der Berggipfel und die feinen Schneeverwehungen besser herauszuarbeiten.
Das Ergebnis
Das Endergebnis war eine Serie von Fotografien, die die kraftvolle Ruhe und Schönheit der winterlichen Alpenlandschaft perfekt einfängt. Jedes Bild erzählt seine eigene Geschichte von der Stille und der Wildheit der Natur. Die Kontraste und die Klarheit der Schwarz-Weiss-Kompositionen lassen die Bilder fast wie Zeichnungen wirken, und man kann die Kälte und die Frische der Bergluft förmlich spüren.
Fazit
Der Tag auf der First und die Fotografien von Reeti und Simelihorn werden mir noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Es war eine besondere Erfahrung, die Schönheit der Berge in ihrer reinen, winterlichen Form zu erleben und diese Momente in Bildern festzuhalten. Reeti & Simelihorn - A symphony in black and white
The majestic beauty of the Bernese Alps is at its most impressive in winter. This season I was lucky enough to photograph the snow-covered peaks of Reeti and Simelihorn from the First. The contrasts of black and white, the interplay of light and shadow - it was a true symphony of nature.
The perfect day for photography
On the afternoon of January 25, 2024, I made my way to First, which is located at 2000 meters above sea level above Grindelwald. The weather forecast promised clear skies and bright sunshine, ideal conditions for winter photography. Even the cable car ride offered breathtaking views of the snowy landscape, but nothing prepared me for what awaited me at the top.
The scenery
Once at the top, an unforgettable view revealed itself: the peaks of Reeti and Simelihorn rose majestically against the deep blue sky. The freshly fallen snow glistened in the sun and the clear, sharp lines of the mountains were clearly visible. The contrast between the snow-white flanks and the dark rocks created an impressive black and white image that I wanted to capture with my camera.
The photography
I set up my tripod and started to capture the scenery from different angles. The challenge was to find the balance between light and shadow and to capture the textures of the snow and the structure of the rocks in the best possible way. Particularly fascinating was the play of clouds that occasionally passed by and bathed the landscape in a diffuse, soft light.
Using a wide-angle lens, I managed to capture the vastness of the landscape and the majesty of the mountains. I also took some shots with a telephoto lens to better bring out the details of the mountain peaks and the fine snowdrifts.
The result
The end result was a series of photographs that perfectly capture the powerful tranquillity and beauty of the winter alpine landscape. Each image tells its own story of the stillness and wildness of nature. The contrasts and clarity of the black and white compositions make the images look almost like drawings, and you can literally feel the cold and freshness of the mountain air.
Conclusion
The day on the First and the photographs of Reeti and Simelihorn will stay with me for a long time. It was a special experience to experience the beauty of the mountains in their pure, wintry form and to capture these moments in pictures.
